Rainbows-Transition Meditation

Another time I was going to do a soul-releasing ceremony for a skeleton. Her name was Freda and she was in the possession of a chiropractic friend who had acquired Freda for teaching purposes. As I was driving up to the mountains where we would hold ceremony, a beautiful rainbow appeared and I drove toward it for miles. I contemplated how Freda would be embraced by those who loved her.

Some years ago I said goodbye to a very dear friend. We shared in the creation of two children. My love for this person was beyond mere words. The time had come for our paths to diverge. The day of his memorial service, a rainbow appeared in the sky. He left me a rock in a place where I would find it.

With each transition comes a time of growth. Sometimes there is sadness in transition, other times joy. The transition may come gradually or suddenly. It may be challenging or it may come gently. How we receive the transition is up to us.

Next time you see a rainbow, consider whether you are being urged to new growth: physically, mentally, spiritually.
