The Shamans offered healings and readings to folks from Florida & Virginia at the Natural Stress Solutions Healing Center.

The foxtails were an expression of Munay from Manin's medicine.

We had an absolute blast! Photos to side and above.

The workshop (photos below) covered the Teaching, Healing and Cleansing Ceremonies of the Andean Shamanic Traditions, including:

  • The Andean cosmology system
  • Energy medicine
  • Balancing the charka system
  • Using sacred objects to heal

The group experienced an environment of Munay (love), received healings, celebrated becoming a community,
and the magnificence of PachaMama (Mother Earth).

    Martin (24K)
    Don Martin Pinedo Acuņa

Don Martin is an Alto Misayoc, which is one of the highest ranks in Andean Shamanism. He is an amazing seer (clairvoyant) and has performed daily readings, healings, cleansings, extractions, and purifications in Wasao-Cusco-Peru for over 25 years.

Born into a modest peasant family in the Andean community of Paccopata, a province of Paruro, he was 10 years old when he was first visited by the Condor, the spiritual Apu of the Andes. This was a sign of a powerful spiritual mission to come. His spiritual name is "The Condor." He uses the flute, drum and his voice to perform vibrational healing.

    Julia (6K)
    Doņa Julia Farfan Carazas

Born and raised in the town of Ollantaytambo-Cusco, Peru, Doņa Julia learned the Andean shamanic ways when she was a little girl from her grandmother, the famous shaman Maximiliana Herrera. Beginning her training as her grandmother's assistant, she has learned all the traditions and local indigenous herbs of the Andes, earning her the title of Maichera (one who works with herbs). After being healed in the dream state during a serious illness, Doņa Julia began practicing her grandmother's medicine ways.

She performs vibrational healings using her powerful voice to balance charkras and removes Hucha ( heavy energy). She specializes in herbal medicine and uses flowering baths, despachos, cleansings and soul retrievals.

    Isabel (8K)
Isabel Chinguel and Olinda Olinda (7K)

Isabel and Olinda are from Singo, the province of Huancabamba. They are soul twins, also known as Yanatin-Masintin. For 25 years, they have practiced northern ancestral medicine in the city of Chiclayo. Their wonderful working relationship allows them to heal many kinds of terminal illnesses.

Traveling to Huancabamba with their clients, Isabel and Olinda always make use of the sacred waters of the magical Huaringas lakes. In their work, they use cards for diagnosis, practice herbalism, cleansings using eggs to remove heavy energy, use sacred objects to heal and do flowering baths as well. They perform San Pedro ceremonies, which is a magical plant from the Andes.

    Marco (9K)
Marco Nuņez Zamalloa (Shaman Facilitator and Interpreter)

Marco was born and raised in Cusco, Peru, and his family comes from Anta Province near Cusco. Living on his grandparents farmland, he awakened to the call of the Apus (mountain spirits) and Pachamama (mother earth) at an early age. At the age of 16, Marco began leading tours, exploring the jungles of Peru on foot and by boat. Later, he lead expedition groups from all over the world through the Andes, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador, trekking nearly 30,000 miles over the last 30 years.

Marco studied business administration and tourism at San Antonia Abad del Cusco University. He speaks five languages and is a professional tour conductor, having owned his own tour company, Frontier Expeditions, 17 years ago.

Marco is the Shaman facilitator and interpreter for the group when on tour in the US. He works parallel with Don Martin balancing the main centers of the body and counseling clients on how to improve their lifestyle.
