Chumpis - healing tools

Chumpis are made of Alabaster. These Chumpis are hand carved by the Shamans at Iraqchi. This alabaster is a soft form of calcite, which is easily worked using a knife.

Iraqchi is an old Incan village that is being rebuilt. The peoples hand carve ceramics and other items. Legend has it that the Lemurians lived in Iraqchi, but did not obey the Andean god Wiracocha, so he killed the Lemurians with a ring of fire (a volcano).

Chumpis are used to work with the chakras: opening, healing, extracting sickness, connecting with Spirit, and closing. They may be used on either the palms or at the specific chakra location.

For example, to open a chakra, touch the palm with the point and draw 3 counter-clockwise circles; to close, touch the palm and draw 3 clockwise circles. Energetically, these are very powerful and people can really feel the movement of energy.
